The Karavites Family proudly supports the communities in which their restaurants are located. The Karavites Family has also been a long time supporter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Our local Ronald McDonald House is located in Streeterville, supporting the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
Over eight years ago, Nick Karavites co-founded the charity event, “Rock The House”, with fellow Chicago McDonald’s owner / operator, John DeCarrier. Together, John DeCarrier and Nick Karavites have raised over one million dollars for their local Ronald McDonald House. The “Rock The House” event was a fundraiser in which Nick Karavites’ band played and John DeCarrier DJ’d. Friends, family, and RMHC supporters enjoyed a night of music and festivities all while raising money for families in need.
