600 N. Clark Street, formerly known as “The Rock’n’Roll McDonald’s”, is also known as the “Chicago Flagship McDonald’s”. The newly remodeled “Rock” opened to the public in August of 2018. With twelve self-ordering kiosks, a McCafé bakery, a dual lane all digital drive-thru, integrated mobile order and pay, and delivery service, this restaurant was used as a model for the “McDonald’s Experience of the Future”. Along with its contemporary glass look, one of its standout features is the solar roof which provides over 60% of the building’s energy.
